This is primary liability protection written on an "occurrence basis." It includes coverage for lawsuits both against you by participants (this is very often excluded in other policies). Protection is provided for your team, league, and sponsors from lawsuits brought against you for both bodily  injury and property damage claims arising out of your team's amateur softball activities, including practices, games, exhibitions and tournaments.

• Exclusions under the Liability Insurance Plan. In addition to the usual exclusions found in the standard commercial general liability policy, there is no coverage for Hired or Non-owned Auto; nor for the furnishing, serving or selling of any alcoholic beverage; nor for acts of an intoxicated person.

Provides coverage for accidental injuries to your team members. This covers plays, managers, coaches and scorekeepers  for covered injuries incurred during games, practices, tournaments or group travel as a team (directly to and from tem activities). This is EXCESS insurance and only comes into play after you have utilized you personal or group medical insurance, or any health benefit plan, first. If you have no other applicable coverage, this policy will pay on a PRIMARY basis.

You can buy this coverage of $0, $250 or $500 per injury. Benefits, including surgical procedures, are paid on a usual and customary basis. The policy only covers medical and dental bills which are incurred within 365 days of the date of injury. Medical services must begin within 60 days of Accident.

• $5,000 Accidental Death and $10,000  Accidental Dismemberment coverage is an added benefit under the Accident Policy if and accidental injury to a team member results in death or dismemberment within one year of the date of covered injury.
• Notable Exclusions under the Accident Insurance Plan
  No benefit will be paid for a loss caused by or resulting in the following
1. service or treatment rendered by a doctor or any other person employed or retained by the Policyholder;
2. eyeglasses or contact lenses or prescription therefore;
3. hernia of any kind;
4. injury covered by workers' compensation or similar legislation or automobile no fault law;
5. first aid treatment at the scene of the accident;
6. any sickness or bodily illness
7. air travel on a commercial aircraft operating on a regular scheduled route; or
8. injuries received as a consequence of the injured party's intoxication (alcohol or drug related); as defined by the laws of the jurisdiction where the loss occurred.

Termination of Coverage under the Accident Insurance Plan. The insurance company cannot terminate your coverage as long as you remain in the eligible group, the premium is paid, and the insurance company and the subscriber (Amateur Softball Associations of America) agree to continue the blanket policy in force.
